Underground Me

Louis Vuitton’s newest venture in Japan is the opening of their Louis Vuitton /underground/ store located in the Seibu Department Dtore in Ikebukuro. Louis Vuitton /underground/ is a concept store and will only be running for a limited period of time. To celebrate the opening, Louis Vuitton invited American rapper Kool Keith to perform.

Just in case your walking around Broome & Grand Sts. on one of your shopping trips and happen to be on a exclusive sneaker hunt then make sure u stop by UES, A.K.A Upper Echelon Shoes. It's a casual, snug, somewhat upscale, but relaxed, well hidden sneakerhead sanctuary. Their signature laced sneaks aren't the best bet for somebody thats planning on roaming dark alley ways late at night but most def are encouraged for the exclusive ish fanatic. Everyone from P. Diddy to Slick Rick rocks 'em. So why shouldn't you and I own a pair?

The crowds at H&M for the launch of their long awaited Comme des Garçons collabo line was ridiculous. Honestly I understand this is a big opportunity to get such a high end name in your closet for a relative "steal", but come one guys!....waiting in line at 11pm THE NIGHT BEFORE! isn't the coolest thing to do. But hey fashion is addictive!

Supposedly the infamous $350 ruffled dress, which was the center piece to the collection, was bought out completely by rapid polka dot hungry customers in 5 minutes flat. Poor stock boys/girls at H&M, they had the times of their retail lives stocking all of those racks every couple of minutes. I personally would of just put a huge box in the middle of the store full of all the merchandise and let the customers go wild; It would of been so much more entertaining.

Even though this crowd wasn't as big as the launch for last seasons designer collabo (Roberto Cavalli) the turn out was big enough to sell every piece out. If your lucky some perfect stranger whom took advantage of the 2 piece limit is selling their second piece on e-bay. My research has led to me to find an individual that is selling one of the ruffled dresses for $700. That's double the original price. not ridiculous at all if u think about it; I'm sure somebody that woke up a bit too late for the Comme des Garçons hunt will drop those pretty coins.

Pull&Bear has released a line of t-shirts printed with glow in the dark ink. Seems pretty cool.
