I Know...It's Been A While..

I've neglected you so much...but no more!

It's almost been a year since my last post in which I told my reader's that: "I have no reason not be the greatest me anybody has ever seen." and sadly...I have yet to stick to that. I really don't know what happened to me though. Well a lot has happened actually. Shall I re-cap? Ummm, no I'll pass; there's way to much to tell and frankly don't want to go through all of that emotional mushy shit again.

Nonetheless it is O.K! All those trials and tribulations were worth it. Cuz after all of that I learned that what I was expecting was for everything to, POOOF!, just happen for me. No no silly rabbit tricks are actually for fools. I have to be the one to get up and work for what I know I deserve. Easier said than done...trust me, I know. Ironically enough the Teen Vogue Handbook made me realize that (among a few other things).

So yes...I am finally free from that temporary emotional purgatory and it feels awesome! Of course destiny has many more tribulations lined up for me to concur; I can't be naive and think that life is smooth sailing from here...again I'd be a fool.

Long story short.........I'M BACK BITCHES!!!!

Hey! Hello!

Yes its me and I'm back! So stop the track & let me state facts!

I apologize to those who have come on my most beloved blog and have found themselves viewing the same thing for the past 14 days or so. I've just been so busy dealing with a fashion show me and my best friend help to coordinate annually but most importantly getting my life in check. Shes just been everywhere and I'm slowly feeling like I"m loosing myself in the mix; & that's never good a good feeling. Its O.K though! I don't blame myself for innocently letting the very firmly held grip I had on reality slip. I thank the higher being in my life for providing me with the mentality I posses and the people that surround me for keeping me grounded when I felt I was floating off into never ever land.

I've just been telling myself lately "O.K Ozzy it's now time for you to leave behind your sluggish ways and get what u want and deserve in life." My mom asking "So...what DO! you want to be when you grow up?..." pushed me further into a mental slump trying to decide now how to get started. Nonetheless I appreciate her unconventional push/slap/reminder/wake up call. *giggle* Trust me your going to open a magazine one day and see my name rite under/above the Fashion Editor slot.

Dita Legends

So I jumped, hopped & skipped to the ophthalmologist about 5 days ago just so I can can be lectured about how horrible my vision is. "Yeah Yeah! I already know I'm almost legally blind! so what?! (not true)". Anyway I went in, sat down in that extremely relaxing chair, got some eye drops aka "Uncomfortableness In A Bottle" and then got my prescription. Since that day I've been looking out for a pair of frames that I can fall in love with. So far I'm almost sold on a pair of Marc Jacobs or maybe even a pair of Gucci frames. But recently I've found out about luxury eyewear designer Dita Legends. Their eyewear is, for lack of a better word, exquisite. They specialize in replicating eyewear from the 60's, 70's & 80's (the best eyewear years in my opinion). I might have been sold on the spot if the price tag wasn't so steep. Sorry but were in a recession and I'm setting pretty on my stoop. But nonetheless I aspire to someday own more than one pair of Dita glasses.

Afro Samurai

I don't know if you know but I'm a huge Anime fanatic. Weird I know...I know! But regardless of what anybody says i find it extremely interesting. The artistry, the morals they teach and the absolutely awesome fight scenes keep me oh so hypnotized.

This movie in particular named Afro Samurai Resurrection is so dope, to say the least. Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Lui, and RZA are all part of the cast of voices that make this Anime movie so intriging. Get into it!

Porcelain Treatment

Lately I've been looking back at some of my chronicled happening throughout old High School via Facebook & I noticed that my skin used to sit! I once had clear skin. So after an hour wrapped in a ball of tangents I came to to the conclusion that the one and only thing I was doing during the era I like to call, "Sitting Face", was the Porcelain Treatment. What is that you ask?...well its a simple honey and brown sugar facial scrub/mask that i would apply every other day to keep my skin glowing. & now I'm handing down this extremely useful advice down to you!...yes You!

Things You’ll Need

►Honey (Preferably Organic)
►Brown Sugar
►Spoon
►Small Mixing Bowl
►2 Towels

What To Do:

1. Mix the brown sugar and honey in the bowl; mixing 2 parts sugar 1 part honey. mix until consistency seems right..not too runny not to thick. You can choose to put more sugar it all depends on how rough you want the scrub to be.

2. Wet your face. You can opt for your favorite face wash but just make sure it's not a harsh one.

3. Towel dry your face.

4. Take some of the Porcelain Treatment into your fingers and simply GO OFF! lol Work on the face going in clockwise circles for about 1 minute (more if you...have a lot to take care of and less if you have sensitive skin).

5. After you have scrubbed yourself a new face let the honey rejuvenate and moisturize it back to life; sit back and relax for about 20 minutes (for extra pampering slice up some cucumbers, chill them and then place them on your eyes to reduce puffiness and give you that "I'm awake" look). I advice you to place the towel around your neck due the honey drip dropping btw.

6. After those heavenly relaxing 20 minutes feel free to wet you fingers gently wash the mask off of your face.

7. Take the unused towel and wet it with hot water. Squeeze it real good and place it on your face for about 2 minutes to get those pores open. Then simply wash your face with cool water, towel dry, finish it off with some toner and your favorite moisturizer and enjoy the new layer of skin you just worked on.

You can proceed this with the Egg White Facial just omit the resting for 20 minutes part.

So me and my best friend (Edible Eddie) took Jonte's advanced hip-hop class about a week ago and honey!!!...let me tell you it was no joke. I feel somewhat embarrassed to even comment on this considering that I was a chop...well not a complete one! The ography was uber tricky and intricate...just watch and pay close attention to how Jonte's body moves! its absolute stunning in person btw.

1st Day of Classes

So today was my first day of classes since my year long hiatus after Spring of 08 and my day was, to say the least, interesting. My classes were short; consisting of only syllabus delivery and exceptions both from teacher-2-student and vise versa. Mind you I skipped my first class, Accounting, due to me waking up too late (mistake #1). We live and we learn. More likely than anything I'll chop that class. Better safe than sorry.

Lets see what this scholastic year brings for lil ole me!
