Lets discus these Lanvin satin high top trainers. The colors: exquisite, The over all design: superb! aka! I have to have them in my closet asap. The grey and the purple ones give me sooo much. The use of jewel toned satin/silk is what every man needs in their closet. Even though it was Fall 2007 collection I still find them classic.

The City

So MTV has decided to create a spinoff to The Hills; you know, the show that made 5 girls from LA famous for no reason! The spinoff will follow Whitney Port and her transition from LA to NYC. She bagged a job with the fashion legend DVF which I'm sure anybody into fashion would be thrilled about.

According to the release, the Diane Von Furstenberg employee, reunites with "a best friend from her past" and meets "a guy she's head-over-heels for". Sounds so New York Fantasy-ish. Nonetheless I'm looking forward to seeing one of my favorite The Hills girls work NYC out.

Obama All Over Paris Runways

Designers in Paris are obviously using their power of persuasion to sway the U.S in to voting for our, oh so, inspiring presidential candidate, Barack Obama.

At Vanessa Bruno's S/S 2009 collection models strutted in sweaters that read "Obama". Jean-Charles de Castelbajac placed Barack smiling on a dress paired with "yes"-or-"no" gloves. Stella McCartney had the Obama fever as well being that she wrote, “P.S. Vote Obama!!” at the end of her program notes. None of this completely surprises me being that Obama is such a great man. Even though Donatella Versace's men's line was not completely inspired by Barack Obama he did however inspire her due to the type of man he represents . This is all probably their way of saying "Rock The Vote". The message is loud and clear believe me. Too bad the French where the only ones bold enough to make this statement cuz London, Milan, and even our very own New York where a bit too shy to showcase anything pertaining to our soon to be president of the U.S.A.
